by emphasizing research, study abroad and service learning opportunities that
span countries and continents. Using the interactive map and search tool,

world. Categories are:
Academic Programs: There’s an international dimension to many programs of study at USC. Various schools have integrated global components to their various degree programs or have established global stand-alone programs. Programs under this category include research collaborations, domestic study opportunities and professional training programs.
Centers and Institutes: The University of Southern California is home to research centers and institutes spanning the arts and humanities, social and natural sciences, and engineering and technology. These centers and institutes are the locus of research for collaborative groups of investigators pushing the frontiers of knowledge forward.
Faculty/Staff Exchange: Faculty/Staff exchange programs allow USC constituents to spend one semester to one academic year at a partner institution abroad in exchange for hosting an international counterpart from our partner institution. Program availability varies per academic unit and hosts abroad.
Research: Opportunities to investigate and deepen knowledge of materials and sources that enhance one’s area of study.
Service / Outreach: USC is committed to community outreach as a key element in student development. A hallmark of USC, service learning provides our students an opportunity to give back to the community at large, while simultaneously receiving invaluable life lessons and opportunities.
Study Abroad: Opportunities for USC graduate and undergraduate students to earn academic credit at leading worldwide partner universities, study centers and with USC faculty abroad.
